Who we are

Wondered is the data controller. Wondered is a trading name, and the business behind it is named in our Terms. Our business address is Room 73, Wrest House, Wrest Park, Silsoe, Bedford MK45 4HR.

What personal data we collect

We collect the following information when you place an order or contact us:

• Name
• Delivery address
• Email address
• Order details (products, quantities, prices)
• Payment information, only the card reference that Nochex provides to us.

Why we use your data and our lawful basis

We use your data to fulfil our contract with you. This includes processing your order, delivering the goods and handling any returns or refunds. This is the lawful basis of performance of a contract.

We also keep records to meet our legal obligations, for example tax and accounting requirements. This is the lawful basis of legal obligation.

We may use your data for legitimate interests such as improving our service, preventing fraud and communicating with you about your order. You may object to this at any time.

Who we share your data with

• Net1on1 Wholesale Ltd, our fulfilment partner. They receive your name, delivery address and order details so they can pack and ship your goods.
• Nochex Ltd, our payment provider. They receive the card reference and payment amount to process the transaction. We never see or store full card details.
• Cloudflare, our website host. Its servers deliver the site and may process your data outside the UK under approved safeguards.

Payments

All card details are entered on Nochex’s secure payment form. The details go straight to Nochex and are not stored by Wondered. The payment shows on your card statement as NCX WONDEREDCOM, taken through our payment provider, Nochex. It never lists what you bought.

How long we keep your data

We keep order records for six years to comply with tax legislation. Other personal data is kept only as long as it is needed for the purposes described above.

The Wonder Club

The Wonder Club sign-up is not open yet, so nothing you type into it is saved. Before it opens we will update this policy to say what we keep, why, and for how long. We will only email you if you tick the box to agree, and we never ask about your sex life.

Cookies

We place one small cookie on your device. It remembers that you have confirmed you are over 18. The cookie does not track you or serve advertising. It is essential for the site to function. Your bag is kept in your own browser's storage on your device, so it is still there when you come back.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your data, to have it corrected, erased or restricted, and to object to processing. You can also receive a copy of your data in a portable format. If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, you may raise it with us first.

How to complain

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Their website is ico.org.uk.
